Imperium of the Star is a TTRPG which was developed using the Fate Core system.
High Concept:
Marking 300 years since Earth’s successful countermeasures towards a number of global challenges, Imperium of the Star is a sci-fi dystopian story that traces the gradual downfall and disconnection of humanity as interstellar travel becomes a vital role in preserving mankind.
With strict governmental regulations put in place for safeguarding Earth’s environment in the late 2030s, mining and resource gathering subsequently became exceedingly expensive. In the eyes of these corporations, looking to the stars was a necessity in maintaining their vast wealth. With this understanding, the leading space exploration corporation, WhySpace, discovered the profitable outcome of shifting mining operations to the moon. WhySpace, is granted with assistance from the United Nations under the pledge that materials could be extracted with little to no environmental impact on Earth.
As years go on, space development becomes increasingly successful with the colonisation of a number of planets across the solar system. With colonies becoming increasingly independent, the Sol Commonwealth is formed to give these planets political recognition and power. Key among these colonies is Mercury, which becomes successfully tidally locked to the sun, allowing for a vast and powerful solar array to be formed on one side of the planet.
To cement their power, Mercury constructs a superweapon of unprecedented scale using their power network. In 2300, 200 years after the formation of Earth’s democratic world government, Mercury unveils their weapon by completely annihilating the birthplace of humanity in just a few minutes.
In 2323, present day, Mercury has since consolidated their power into a single body led by a conglomerate of corporations, replacing the Sol Commonwealth with their new Imperium of the Star.

My aspect of development was largely worldbuilding for the planets, and the resistance factions, developing characters for both the planets and resistance factions, and art for about a third of the characters
